1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Social Portfolio mobile application and the related website (together, the "Service"), operated by Knooty ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for personal, non commercial use. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3. What the Service Does

• Records the holdings you enter or import, and calculates performance from them.
• Publishes a public profile at your chosen visibility level so other people can follow you.
• Lets you follow other accounts and compare percentage performance.

What it does not do: the Service never places trades, never holds your money, and never takes custody of your assets. It does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice, and no content in it should be treated as a recommendation. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance does not predict future results. Decisions you make are your own.

4. Your Account

• Accounts are created with a phone number and verified by one time code.
• You choose a public @username. Usernames are unique and may be reclaimed if they impersonate another person or brand.
• Keep your device and phone number secure. Anyone with access to them can access your account.

5. Your Content and Conduct

You keep ownership of the holdings, notes, reactions, display name, biography, and photo you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to store that content and to show it to the audience your own privacy settings allow.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person, brand, or public figure.
• Post unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or deliberately misleading content.
• Present fabricated performance as real in order to solicit money, followers, or clients.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute other users' data, or attempt to identify holdings that a user has not chosen to publish.
• Interfere with the Service, its security, or its rate limits.

The app provides reporting and blocking tools. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate an account that breaks these Terms.

6. Privacy Levels and What You Publish

Each portfolio has a visibility level that you control, from fully private to a level that shows dollar amounts. You decide what is published; please choose deliberately. Anything you publish can be seen, and potentially recorded, by the audience that level allows. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Encryption and Your Recovery Phrase

Keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe and private. Anyone who has it can read the holdings in your vault.

8. Brokerage Connections

You may connect a brokerage account so holdings import automatically. If you do:

• The connection is read only. The Service cannot trade, transfer, or withdraw.
• You sign in on your brokerage's own page. We never see or store your brokerage password.
• Connections are made through a regulated third party aggregator acting on your instruction. Their availability and the accuracy of what they return are outside our control.
• Imported positions may lag, be incomplete, or be restated by your brokerage. Your brokerage's own statements are always the authoritative record.
• You can disconnect at any time in Settings. Holdings already imported stay in your portfolios until you delete them.

9. Market Data

Prices, fundamentals, and related information come from third party sources. They may be delayed, interrupted, or wrong, and they are provided for information only. Do not rely on them for trading decisions. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data.

10. Public Disclosure Accounts

The Service includes accounts reconstructed from public financial disclosures, such as filings made under the STOCK Act by members of Congress and Form 4 filings by company insiders. These are built from public records and are provided for information only.

• They are not affiliated with, operated by, endorsed by, or verified by the people named in the filings.
• Disclosures are filed with a delay, in ranges rather than exact amounts, and sometimes with errors or amendments. Reconstructed holdings are therefore approximate.
• Nothing about these accounts is a recommendation to follow any person's trades.

11. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We try to avoid disruption and to preserve your data, but the Service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes your portfolios, holdings, and account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, or where we are required to by law.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non infringement. We do not warrant that calculations, imports, or comparisons are free of error.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any investment losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you publish, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be signalled in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
